Which is better Hydro power energy ,or Solar power energy?

I’m doing a science fair project and i need some help. Which is better hydro powerr or solar power. Where I live, there are streams running in the backyard off everyones house. So hydro power is more usful here. What do y’all think?

hydropower is proven and reliable technology and currently the most dominant source of renewable energy in United States while solar power is the fastest growing industry in the country ans also the most abundant renewable energy source.

    We should be using both. And a few others not mentioned.
    Actually the nation and the world should take advantage of all types of thermal energy.

    there is problems with hydro to as you need a lake behind the dam.

    Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Solar doesn’t need anything but the sun, but you need to set up equipment and of course, have the sun out. Hydro would need running water, but could provide you with electricity all day long. So if you want efficiency, I would go with Hydro.

    I think both are useful for us but solar power energy is i like so much because it is easy to use as well as to make.

    in my opinion the hydro power should be the better than the solar because at night we can’t get sun light but we can generate the energy from the hydro power at night also. though the solar energy is also the nature energy which is very good for us. because of the night and the clouds the solar energy can’t be got every time but we can get the hydro power from either from one water source to another source. so in my view the hydro power would be the better source of energy.

    i think if there is enough availability of water then hydro power energy is better if not solar power is fine.
