Where can I find info on how much money the federal govt spent on using solar energy tech. for Fed. buildings?

Would like to know how much $ is reserved/set aside by Fed Govt to use solar energy tech for some Federal buildings – also how much money is being spent by Fed Govt on using non-solar air conditioning technology (traditional a/c technology)

That is going to take some digging with google. Using strings like "u.s. government solar energy use" you will turn up links like:

http://www.gsa.gov/Portal/gsa/ep/contentView.do?pageTypeId=8169&channelId=-18801&P=XAE&contentId=11779&contentType=GSA_BASIC

and this:

http://www.solarbuzz.com/News/Newsgovt.htm

So the information is out there, but it appears there is a not a single compendium site that lists all federal solar energy uses. Therefore, it will be a Project to assemble it.

Good luck.

Until Dick and George get out of the white house, none.
Individual states, that’s a whole different matter, where Colorado will have 20% of its energy coming from solar by 2012.
