1. Electric grids for electric cars.
2. Solar panels, tidal energy extractors, windmills, etc.
3. To completely disconnect from the Arab oil grid
4. The Venus Project
5. Bio-diesel
To name a few..
So..
Why does Obama state on CNN that the world shouldn’t expect any breakthroughs in climate change any time soon, and why doesn’t he aggressively endorse and restructuring society into one that meets the needs and the modern technological advances of the 21st century?
Needless to say, it’s high time we stop turning to the most barbaric, undemocratic and evil regimes on our planet for our primitive energy sources.
Why can’t we become the futuristic, green and independent society we all aspire to?
Why do we need to remain in the dark ages when solutions are all around us?

Even if C02 were causing climate change (which is highly disputed) all of mans emissions account for less than 20%…the rest are from natural occurrences such as volcanoes. As for your solutions, the free market has already determined what is economically viable which is the reason for government interference trying to create artificial demand with credits, prohibitive taxes, and draconian regulation.

Because global warming is not a problem. History shows us that the sun and the radiation it emits do more to control the planets climate than man could ever do. Do your research. Manmade global warming is just a political tool.

How do those tools counteract global warming, when much of it is natural. I’m not saying that we don’t contribute to the problem, but it’s a fact that the Earth has gone through periods of warming and cooling long before humans ever walked the planet.
All of the above are excellent goals we should try to achieve, but I doubt they will have much affect on the planet’s normal climate cycles.

When life first began and developed on earth, their was no atmosphere. Instead their where huge amounts of Hydrogen, Oxygen, and Carbon. Guess what Oxygen and Carbon makes?
Guess what three major elements we are made from? Oxygen, Hydrogen and Carbon.
Organic matter is made from Carbon (tissues, cells, bones, so forth), while your fluid is composed of Oxygen and Hydrogen.
Guess what… Oil and other fossil fuels are made from piled up / decomposed organic organisms from millions of years.
All organic matter is made from carbon.
In reality? Mr. Gore is taking all your cash on a scam….Hear about him investing in fossil fueled run automobiles in Europe? Or about Obama drilling for oil off the coast of Brazil? Trust me, he already has begun. (Look it up.. "Obama drilling off Brazil".)

lol All the scientists who claim to back Mr. Gore, are mostly armatures. Most of the top scientists from around the world, mostly agree that "global warming" is too complex to track, with the latest technology we have.

there is no connection with us and the arab oil grid, we use all local and semi local oil, basically its all from america, central/south america and canada, just like the arab oil goes to there local regions.
now electric grids for Electric cars? are you talking about having power lines all over the streets? like they did for the old trains? then that’s just silly, the work needed to do a city like SF or new york is big and then we have to make these somehow to accommodate Electric trucks as well? and go all over the country etc…
now solar panels and windmills, be nice if there was constant wind and sun but theres not and there not energy efficient to start with and we would need to put massive cities of wind mills or solar panels over entire counties.
bio diesel is bad and does not work, it takes to much to make and theres still more oil going in the process then to just use gasoline.
venus project yeah right
so lets spend hundreds of trillions and do all that so we can change it all again next year for hydrogen
