    The working of Solar Panels
First we know that light is in tiny packets called photons.
When the photons strike semi conductor with energy sufficient to dislodge an electron from a fixed position and make it move freely in the material, a vacant electron position or ‘ hole ‘ is created in the material. The hole acts as an positive and can move if the neighbouring electron leaves its site to fill the hole site. A current is created if the electron hole pairs are separated by voltage in the cell material.

Feroz yahoo member is mostly right, There is also other New physics ways, to produce Fission energy from Matter 99.9 % of other Mankind does not know about yet.( New Types of solar Panels )
I was the First person in History to Discover these new types of energy as well as the first to get the Astro-physics of the Universe right.
